Austrian fans had a double reason to cheer!

The World Championships are going towards the end, but not the positive spirit amongst the fans. They provided a great atmosphere during today´s last ladies' event at Gudiberg and they got to watch a double victory in the Slalom for Austria.

The Austrian fans had a good reason to party  – after Marlies Schild´s and Kathrin Zettel´s “double” victory.

 

The name is obvious: This band of Basel, Switzerland, is called Fire and Flame - as you can see on their dress.

 

These two young ladies from Czech Republic were delighted by an exciting race.

 

Julia Mancuso sets new trends: Her pink wig worn for the official ID card picture became the new gag amongst the spectators.
However, the wig did not bring her good luck – she dropped out in the first heat.

 

These ski fans arrived from Switzerland with an entire band and they spread some good ambiance at the Gudiberg finish area.

 

Even balloons and posters were not helpful for Susanne Riesch: Unfortunately she dropped out in the second heat.
